The 22km Gorlech red route is the first of three trails to be delivered as part of the Brechfa bikes project a joint venture between FCW and Carmarthenshire County Council.
Named after the river Gorlech that it follows along the valley and bridges twice in picturesque settings. Throughout this is a very scenic route taking in the diverse woodland Brechfa has to offer and the rolling views out over the surrounding hills. What this trail delivers in views and scenery it certainly backs up with terrain and excitement. Taking design and construction to new levels, the trail is a hard, fast, all weather surface which becomes more and more exciting as your skill level and speed progresses. Soon you'll be railing the perfectly sculpted berms and huge switchbacks, jumping the step up jumps and tabletops and grinning all the way to the bottom of the exhilarating final descent.
